The Finance Company The Company was established in 1940 and is the oldest non-banking financial institution in the country. With many a first to its credit, our vision is to be the premier financing company of the masses by providing a wide range of financial products for capital formation, savings and advance consumption and thereby improving the quality of living standards for the people. With a distinguished history of 62 years, the company now occupies its own premises and is primarily focused on Real Estate and financial products such as Hire Purchase, Leasing, Education Loans, Rakshana Warama, Ideal Home Loans - a housing loan with furnishing and household equipment. Bilindu Sina - a health Insurance scheme for maternity - and TFC Seylan Credit Card. The company opened its 31st Branch in Trincomalee in September 2002 and re-commenced its operations in Jaffna in May 2002 to offer its products and services to the people of the Northern and Eastern parts of the country. The 31 branch network island wide has assisted the Company to build its values of being a secure and caring organisation and to achieve its corporate objectives. Amongst its significant achievements was the restructuring of two failed finance companies, namely The Finance and Guarantee Company Limited and Panadura Finance and Enterprises Limited which are now successfully operating under the Ceylinco Consolidated umbrella.
