SeylanMerchant Bank
Having commenced operations in 1992, Seylan Merchant Bank is a
leading merchant bank in Sri Lanka today. It operates as a subsidiary
of the Seylan Bank and is involved in leasing, investments, loans,
fixed income securities, and corporate finance.
The Seylan Merchant Bank (SMB) has three subsidiaries of it own -
Seylan Merchant Leasing, 5MB Real Estate, and 5MB Money Brokers, which
is involved in inter bank money and foreign exchange markets. The
focus on universal banking products by combining the synergies of
the subsidiary companies has found favour with clients.
