A project close to Deshamanya Lalith Kotelawala's heart, the Sarana Fund is personally supervised by him at all times.

Over the years, it has assisted the destitute and the ailing through financial assistance for surgery and medical care; through special donations for heart surgeries, cancer, cataract, eye and kidney surgeries, scholarships for children's education, supplying artificial limbs, and wheelchairs for servicemen and disabled civilians.

These gestures help many unfortunate people to build a better life and bring immense solace to them.
